The children have been working on Viking weaving as part of their topic this term.

The children received a letter from Bramble asking them to take him on a walk up to Culbokie Woods. He had left a surprise for them in the Woods…a treasure hunt!
The children had to answer questions about the wildlife that can be found in Culbokie Woods and then they would find the treasure.

As part of our work on healthy living we have enjoyed a taster session prepared by our school cook Georgie. All the children enjoyed looking at our rainbow of colours. They enjoyed tasting them too, as can be seen by how few pieces of fruit were left at the end.

Well done to everyone for raising money for Red Nose Day. I would especially like to thank P3/4 who were in charge of selling the Red Noses this week. They also collected and counted all the money and presented the results to the whole school at assembly. The sale of Red Noses raised £120 and we also had donations of £149 giving us a total of £269.

These are samples of the bags on sale by P6/7 for their Enterprise Project. The designs have been created and hand stencilled onto the bags.
An Order Form will be sent home on Friday 6th March to be returned to school no later than Friday 13th March 2015.
